About Therapeutic Coaching

Therapeutic coaching is a holistic approach to transformation and growth.

What To Expect

Using cutting-edge approaches and self-help tools – NLP, mindfulness, EFT, working with inner parts, hypnosis – we look at the cognitive, emotional, energetic and spiritual dimensions to explore how your past might be affecting you in the present.

We then reprogram the patterns that are holding you back from living your best life. Addressing aspects of the past, the present and the future, we build value-aligned visions together and facilitate growth by building on the power, wisdom and resources that everyone carries in themselves already.

In each session I choose the most suitable tool, or a combination of tools, based on experience, intuition and a deep understanding of the human mind.

Neuro-Linguistic-Programming (NLP)

Neuro-Linguistic-Programming (NLP) studies how we think about our values and beliefs, how we create our emotional states and how we construct our inner world from our experience and give it meaning. NLP offers many tools and techniques for change, learning and self-development. One of my favourite principles of NLP is the philosophy that we already have all the resources we need, or we can create them.‍

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Emotional Freedom Technique is energy psychology, which uses tapping on selected energy meridians while we connect with negative emotions or physical sensations. It’s a powerful tool to improve your life on multiple levels and has been proven to be particularly effective when used with anxiety, trauma and past memories which are still affecting physical and mental health. By calming the nervous system, tapping helps to restore balance within the body’s energy system and allows you to let go of issues you have been trapped by for years.

Working with Parts

Have you ever been on a diet and binged on ice cream? Or gone for an interview and told yourself you won’t get the job? When a part of you wants X and another part of you wants Y, you may have an inner sense of conflict or of being stuck.

While some parts can show up in destructive and self-sabotaging ways, their original intention is always to protect the system (you). However, parts are often formed when we are quite young, and their strategies may not be helpful to you anymore, or actively hold you back. Parts have important information for us and can become highly valuable to us, once they trust it’s safe to step out of their roles.
‍
All parts of you are welcome here. There are no “bad” parts.

Hypnosis

The state of hypnotic trance is really just a relaxed state that you might achieve when being absorbed in a hobby, doing a repetitive task, meditating or falling asleep.
‍
Hypnosis frees you from the constraints of the conscious mind and allows you to enter an ‘altered’ state, where you are more aware of internal processes and can access unconscious resources for changing behaviour and healing.
‍
In the context of a session, I use hypnotic language to support various processes, allowing the creative and resourceful ideas of the unconscious mind to surface.

What can I expect from my first session?

Our first session will be spent with “mapping”. This means we create a clear picture of what the map of your world looks like and how the issue presents. Once we both have a clear understanding of your map, our work together can begin.

How many sessions will I need?

This is different for each client, depending on the issue they bring to the sessions. My goal is to empower you to become your own coach and healer. You get to decide when you are ready to make that transition!

What forms of payments do you accept?

Payments can be made via direct deposit or cash.

What if I have to cancel my session?

Please give me as much notice as possible if you need to cancel an appointment. Note that the full fee may be charged if less than 24 hours’ notice is given, or for a non-arrival.
